Finish and protect your timber garden projects with wood stain

Our grey wood stain is perfect for untreated, new scaffolding planks or garden timber, giving your garden furniture or features and aged grey look and feel. Treating garden timber enables you to protect it from the elements, preventing cracks and splits and extending the lifespan of your timber.

This grey wash retains some of its transparency, further accentuating the wood grain and giving your timber an attractive finish.

Application

Apply with a block brush or long-haired paintbrush to a grease-free surface of pine or spruce scaffolding planks. Apply one coat annually for maintenance and do not store this paint below 5°C.

Coverage is dependent on the painter but you can expect 6-8 m2 per litre. We recommend a thickness of 20-30 microns and three to four coats of the treatment for maximum stability and longevity with re-application every few years.
