• Corner log cabins in extreme weather: Like many of our log cabins, for highland and mountainous areas prone to more extreme weather, you will want to invest in a storm kit to make your cabin more resilient.

• Corner log cabin not draining enough water: While it's convenient to store items behind your corner cabin, it is important to keep this space clear in order for water to drain properly.

• Mold/rot/damage appearing at the back of the cabin: With the proximity of a corner summerhouse, the back of the cabin is more prone to mold, rot and other damage. We encourage cleaning and treating the back of your cabin more regularly should this happen.

• My corner log cabin not getting built properly: The unique shape of the door frame can sometimes lead to corner log cabins not being built properly. We recommend extra time and care when constructing the cabin at this stage.

• Wood being discoloured in specific places: This can sometimes occur as the sun exposure is uneven on a cabin of this shape/design. Using a UV-resistant treatment or stain is a good way to reduce this.

• I don’t know what corner to use for my corner log cabin: A difficult decision to make that depends on the design you choose. We recommend looking at which corner of your garden receives the best balance of sunlight and shade, as well as which part of your outdoor space overlooks the best views.

• Can I clean everything properly? Due to the boundary space needed between it and the cabin, there should be sufficient room for you to clean outside the cabin without worry.

• Higher temperature in corner log cabins: Because of their unique shape, proximity in the garden and plenty of single and double glazed windows, these timber cabins can take in more sunlight and get quite warm and humid in the summer. In this instance, it is important to ensure proper ventilation of the cabin, aided by the inclusion of a Log Cabin Air Vent where necessary.
