The primary component of a wooden Tongue and Groove shed is its sturdy, interlocking structure, providing an even more stable build in comparison to other wooden sheds. This is important as many items in your garden are an important asset that you need to store properly to ensure they last for many seasons. A Tongue and Groove shed provides protection from the elements, preventing rust and decay caused by exposure to moisture, sunlight, and other environmental factors. Wood is a strong and sturdy material that can withstand harsh weather conditions such as rain, snow, and wind.
Our Wooden Garden sheds help to declutter UK gardens and keep them tidy. Whether it is to put a boost into your spring cleaning or keep things protected during colder winter months, you cannot go wrong with a bit of garden storage.
If you are looking for something larger, then our Garden Sheds and Buildings are very beneficial in keeping your lawnmower, garden furniture etc. covered.
If you do not fancy a wooden garden shed, we do also sell a small range of metal sheds, though these have different requirements to our wooden garden buildings. Please see our full page on Metal Sheds for more information.
Our storage sheds come in prepalletise kits and will arrive via an articulated vehicle with a demountable, self powered forklift to move the packages. Delivery will be curbside which usually means a driveway or a side path to your garden, you don’t have to be there for delivery. Please contact us if there are any limitations regarding size of your unloading area and access.
Once your delivery has been made, please check your package to ensure all items have arrived securely and without damage.
One of the most important parts of the build installation is a base. To ensure our Log Cabins and sheds have the long life span as intended a flat and level base is required for any building.
A base can be pretty much made out of anything: concrete, timber, paving stones. But, any base provided for garden buildings has to follow this criteria:
Consideration should be given to the majority of the weight being placed on the perimeter of the building.
Consideration should be given to the weight of the cabin, a 19mm is obviously considerably different to a 70mm.
It should be 100% level in every direction.
Ideally it should be square.
Ideally to just over the footprint size of the building
For more details, please read Base Requirements for Log Cabins.
An important aspect of these sheds is that they come in a variety of log thicknesses which provide several different benefits. If you want to double up your Tongue & Groove shed to have some garden living space, then you may want to go for a cabin with thicker logs, otherwise the thinner logs are perfect for just storage.
We always try to offer the best pricing possible on our T&G Sheds and other garden buildings.
Our tongue and groove sheds are all made from logs of interlocking panels made from timber. This timber comes in a variety of thicknesses, from 19mm to 28mm, making them suitable as storage sheds all year round.
Likewise, our tongue and groove sheds are constructed by interlocking timber panels one on top of the other, forming a more solid structure in comparison to panelised garden building designs.

We know that investing in garden storage solutions can bring up some worries. Let us address and alleviate those fears to help you make the best decision:
My roof has blown off: Strong winds can damage improperly secured roofs. Ensure all roofing materials are correctly installed and secured according to the instructions to withstand adverse weather conditions. Also ensure to install the antistorm screws and fixings if your shed is in a windy zone or in a place with no surrounding structures/protections.
I made an installation error: If you encounter installation errors, refer to the detailed instructions provided or contact our support team for guidance. Many issues can be resolved with minor adjustments.
There's mold on my shed's walls. How can I get rid of it?: Mold can develop due to excess moisture. Ensure proper ventilation, use dehumidifiers if necessary, and regularly clean and treat the interior and exterior wood surfaces to prevent mold growth. A mixture of hot water and Vinegar is the ideal way to do a quick cleaning and treatment of the wood, maintaining it shiny and in good shape. For severe mold infestations or rotting wood we recommend you stronger chemicals and wood treatments.

I'm moving out, but I want to take my shed with me: Moving tongue and groove sheds require careful planning and professional assistance to ensure it’s done safely and efficiently. While it’s a challenging task, it’s possible with the right approach and support. There are specialised companies that can move the entire structure from one place to another, you just have to consider the cost of this between building a new one.
Can I dismount and rebuild my shed? Of course, although bear in mind that many parts are pinned and secured, so certain sections will have to go whole or will need modification / repair if you take them apart and reassemble them later. Many users replace parts or move their shed around if they need to.
Will my neighbours/local council object to a shed being built? If your shed does not exceed 2.5 metres in height and is not in poor condition or painted in an extravagant way, it should not cause problems. In any case, find out about the boundaries between properties, urbanisation regulations and local regulations, if you have any doubts.
Freeing up space in your home: If your home is in need of a good declutter, then you may want an additional storage solution to free up space. Having a decluttered home can create long-term ease of mind and will allow you to pursue you home projects easier.
Providing extra shelter in your garden: Alternatively, if you have too many loose tools or garden items, even perhaps a garden dining set that needs storing away, you can keep your lawn tidy in the colder months and keep organised with our garden storage boxes and solutions. Having your garden tools and furniture stored away can also keep them protected during the colder months, increasing their longevity.
Increasing the value of your property: With proper maintenance and a good styling this shed can be a valuable addition to your house, and when renting or selling your house you will be able to ask better prices for your property due to the extra utility.
Freeing up your garden room: You may already have a log cabin, garden room or summerhouse that hasn't seen use in quite some time due to being used for storage. Instead, having a separate storage shed can allow you to breath new life into your summerhouse and increase its usage again.
