Not only does this timber stain give your timber garden building a natural finish, it also provides a water repellent barrier protecting the wood from the elements and UV rays. This stain helps to protect your garden building, keeping it looking its best and preventing problems such as warping, splitting, cracking and mould. Swatches show one, two and three coats applied.

Finish your log cabin, summerhouse, shed, gazebo, fencing or decking with our Embadecor Timber stain in silver grey. Embadecor is a high-quality stain sold across Europe so you can be assured that it will withstand the unpredictable British weather.
This treatment is solvent based and easy to apply so you can treat your garden building shortly after installation or retreat it to keep it looking its best throughout its lifetime.
The coating is moisture wicking and water repellent, protecting your log cabin from warping, cracking, splitting and mould, all of which can affect the integrity of your building. It will also protect your building from UV rays to prevent common problems and keep your garden building looking good and remaining functional.
The rich red colour of the stain enhances the natural beauty of the wood, creating a warm and inviting appearance that stands out in any garden setting. It can be used on its own for a natural stained look but it’s also ideal as an undercoat for our Embalan Timber Paint, providing a great foundation for long-term colour and protection.

Application
We recommend applying at least three coats on untreated wood and lightly sanding between layers for the best results.
When applying to a log cabin, pay special attention to all joints and liberally apply in these areas, particularly corner joints, windows and doors. Doors and windows should be treated inside and outside to stabilise the wood and protect against warping.
If your log cabin will be closed up regularly (such as throughout the winter), is not ventilated or does not have a damp proof membrane, we recommend treating the inside of your log cabin.
