This tar was recommended given its waterproofing ability and I have been very impressed in that it has certainly prevented water damage. I was expecting a thick bitumen type tar but was pleasantly surprised to find it was smooth and very easily applied, drying quickly and allowing for a 2nd coat within short period. 1 tin covered a large area and I found it to be extremely cost effective. Would recommend to others.
Great product. Easy to apply and provides a great protection for the wall bearers. Also used on the barge boards to finish the roof. Looks fabulous.
